Lint: Raw cotton after ginning is called lint Or Cotton fiber after separated from the seed is called lint.

Linters : The short, fuzzy fibers still attached to the seed after ginning is called linters

Lint is refer to suitable long fiber for producing yarn, separated from cotton seed. | After ginning process some small fiber are still attached into seed that is termed as linters. |
Fibers length refer to ½-2 inches. | Fibers length refer to ½ inches. |
These fibers are used to produce yarn. | These are not suitable for producing yarn. |
These are good grade cotton. | These are waist |
These are directly used to produce yarn and fabric. | These are used to produce regenerated cellulose. |

Do you mean Linters are waste? What do you mean by waist?
This differentiation actually cleared my confusion between cotton fibre (lint) and linter.
Just spelling mistake while typing. Waist instead of waste, that’s all.
